Cute little pre-print update!

Hello beautiful backers!
I'm writing to you to give you a little update on where Through the Labyrinths of the Mind is at.
To be honest, at this point I thought this project would be at the printers, but alas, we are not quite there yet. As per usual, we found many little things here and there we wanted to change, days turned into weeks, etc, etc. But here are some things that are done: All of the artists have handed in their work and it has been placed in our book file. Bevan has finished his intro essay page and is currently editing my intro essay page(from Finland may I add). We have one more final artwork revision that we'd like to see happen before it's sent to print so I see this as being at the printers by the end of the month.
I will update you again as soon as it's being printed. Hope you are all well!

3rd Draft of book, Backerkit surveys still needed.

Hello Backers!
I'm writing to let you know that we're currently on draft 3 of this project. There are still a few little tweaks here and there that I'd like to make so I expect us to be a little late with the fulfillment of this campaign. It's nothing too serious so I'm hoping we can have this project sent to the printers by mid-august at the latest. I'll let you all know as soon as it's there.
In other news, we're still missing about 10% of the surveys, if you never received your survey invite in your email, you can use this link to access it.

Pre-Sale Page Launched, surveys on the way

Hello Backers!
Exciting news, we're going to be sending out surveys through Backerkit in the next few days. There are a couple of things that are important to note.
First, if you selected an Enamel Pin Add On or an Extra Cloudscape Book Add On, it's important that you adjust your pledge by selecting your add-on and picking which pin or book you would like from the drop-down menu within the item. This should be straightforward once you've received your survey but if you have any questions or concerns with this please reach out to me through Kickstarter and I can help get it sorted for you.
Second, we have launched a presale site through Backerkit! That means that if you know someone who missed out on their opportunity to pre-order the book they can now do so at this link:

We're still working away putting the finishing touches on the book files, I still expect that we will have the book sent to the printers by mid-July but I'll keep you updated along the way.

First Draft of book is complete and under review!

Hello Backers!
It's been just over a month since we last spoke, so here's a little update on where we are at with Through the Labyrinths of the Mind. We're still waiting on the last few pages of final art, but we were able to create the first draft of the book and let me say, it's looking fantastic. Bevan has been writing an intro for the book and we've collected everything we need from the contributors. We have to make some final decisions on the story order, but we're on track to have this project sent to the publishers in early July, and if all goes well we should be mailing out books to you by the end of July or early August.
We'll be sending out surveys very soon, and we're using BackerKit for this project. So the next update I send will be more info about surveys!

We went out with a bang!

Wow, what an incredible end to this campaign! We've raised over $1000 in less than 24 hours and shot past our first stretch goal! Thanks to all of your support we'll be able to afford a spot gloss on the cover as well as give our artists a little bit more $ per page. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome for this project and we really appreciate all of your kind words and support throughout this campaign.
So what happens next? We're still receiving some of the final art from our contributors but while they're working away, we're going to be constructing the book files and finishing up all the little important details. I'll also be placing the order for the bookmarks and bookplates, we get those printed at Jukebox in Vancouver BC.
Once the book design is done, the editors, the book designer, and the President of the Cloudscape board go through the digital proof meticulously to make sure everything is perfect before we send it out for printing.
So that's where we're headed. I'll be sending out surveys in the next few weeks to collect all of your information on rewards and where you'd like them sent and I'll continue to update you along the way.
